This car seat is unlike any other!! It is light, soft and sturdy and abundantly loaded with safety features- Tura’s engineers have done some impressive work putting together something so great! The sustainable seawool fabric is so soft and cozy and looks very luxurious. It was easy to install with the latch into our SUV and the lightweight design made lifting it up into our SUV very easy. I especially love how nicely the car seat clicks into the Tura stroller to transfer a sleeping baby from the car into the store. The added safety features make this carseat stand out compared to others, which also provides the smoothest ride for my baby. My first impression of the Juni Roamer Infant Car Seat was that it is a sleek, modern, and reliable car seat. Reading that it is designed for infants from birth up to around 12 months (or 35 pounds) made me feel more confident about the Juni providing excellent protection while ensuring a comfortable ride for my little one. Combining innovative safety features with ease of use, this car seat got my attention for both its functionality and style. The Sealwool fabric offers a plush and secure environment for my baby, and looks carefully designed.

I was pleasantly surprised at how the base’s latch system and level indicator simplified the installation process, ensuring a secure fit without much hassle.

My favorite feature of the Juni Roamer, besides the safety features, has to be its use of stylish and high-quality materials — the design is visually appealing, and the materials used are durable and easy to clean, making it both practical and aesthetically pleasing.

This carseat feels luxurious. The fabric is so soft and well-made and I love that it's also more eco-friendly. The whole seat is beautifully designed and nice to look at in a way I've rarely seen a carseat be. Obviously safety comes first, but it's nice to see an option that is both safe and thoughtfully designed. I love the leather style handle, too.
I was pleased to see when I searched that this seat has similar safety ratings to similar carseats on the market. I was especially glad that it has an anti-rebound bar because that's a non-negotiable for me, given how much it improves safety outcomes in an accident. I also feel that this carseat seems comfier than other models I've looked at. My son is only 6 weeks old so he can't voice his opinion, but he seems very snug and cozy to me! And just to my hand it feels like it would be more comfortable to sit in. I feel better about this seat than our older one for long trips for that reason.
My husband installed it and said it was about the same as the other seat he installed--a little cumbersome as all carseats are, but not terribly difficult and didn't take long.
Overall, I'd recommend this seat to any parent who wants an option that doesn't skimp on safety and comfort while also being made of beautiful, high quality materials.

We know our daughter is very secure while driving with her in the Romer Juni Infant Car Seat. This seat has incredible safety features, with our favorite being the load leg that adds extra security in car accidents. During installation, we felt that the SecureLoc component gave us confidence that the seat was properly placed. Aesthetically, the Juni car seat is sleek, simple, and snug. The premium ecological Seawool materials are soft and plush. We’re excited to find that it is moisture-wicking! Another favorite aspect is the full coverage screen that easily pulls out and packs back into the canopy. This allows baby to have extra protection from weather elements, bugs, and more. We love that this is compatible as a travel system with the equally luxurious Tura stroller. The concept of the magnetic sides that hold the harness is great but could have stronger magnets as the harness gets easily dislodged. Overall, highly recommend! We were given this car seat as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

It’s safe to say I was *thrilled* to receive this car seat as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have been on the fence about purchasing a new infant car seat since our youngest was born (he’s 7 months old now) because he hated our previous car seat. It was a very safe seat, but did not seem comfortable. I got too sucked into the weeds of researching just about every car seat brand, reading all the 3rd party independent safety reviews, learning about the importance of fabrics free of flames retardants, etc, etc - I couldn’t find a seat that checked all my boxes- and then this beauty arrived in the mail.

It is SAFE- rigid LATCH, load leg, anti-rebound bar, steel support bar, and an automatic seat belt tensioner- more than satisfied my requirements! It also has the European belt path , which if you find yourself traveling and needing to install it via seatbelt only- the European belt path is the safest option out there!

Installation- took me 5 minutes the first time having skimmed the safety manual. Now takes me less than two minutes to install, which is key if you have multiple kids to buckle in! Also safety is only as good as the person who installs it, so having a seat that is very easy to install for the grandparents, babysitter, etc was important to me.

No flame retardants- the fabric is Seawoool (I’d never heard of it before)- but it is a recycled polyester and flame retardant free. Not to mention SO soft and luxe feeling. A soft, easy to clean, recycled fabric, free of added chemicals? Yes please:)

Baby’s comfort- has all the bells and whistles. As opposed to our previous seat with a very deep pocket, this seat allows baby to sit a nice angle, and elevated enough that he can still see his siblings next to him. It also has an extended canopy shade that secures with magnets and a little peekaboo window- so nice for checking on baby when he’s sleeping!
*One of my only critiques is that the buckle seems slightly wider than necessary and pushes into baby’s chubby thighs just a bit. I did finally take out the bottom infant insert today though (baby is 7 months, approx 18 lbs) and this seemed to make a significant difference. Would still like a more narrow buckle nonetheless.

A few other great features:
-it’s so light to carry compared to others we’ve had!
-it’s so luxe. Like really pretty. I love the black we have for practicality, but the pearl and truffle colors look even more luxe!
- it fit easily in our Acura MDX with 3-across in the middle row. I am 5’3 and have plenty of space with it behind the driver seat. My husband is 5’11 and it fits but just.

My only other negative is that so far, I’ve not been able to figure out how to attach it to our stroller (we have an UppaBaby Vista 2019 model). I’ve spoken with reps at both UppaBaby and Romer, and from what I can gather, the Romer online manual shows that it should theoretically click in to the UppaBaby brand car seat attachments used for UppaBaby car seats. I’ve not been able to have success, but this may be due to the fact that I’m using our Vista as a double stroller rather than in single use mode. My advice for anyone looking to use it with a double stroller is to get a double Bob with the proper attachments anyways- once your older child is over 20 lbs, pushing a top/bottom double stroller becomes an Olympic sport.

This is the longest review I’ve ever written- because there is SO MUCH to love about this car seat! WOW! WOW! WOW! The first thing I noticed (besides the luxuriously, modern, high-end looks) was the fabric!! The buttery softness can only be rivaled by high quality bamboo.
Then come all the great features that amazingly still haven't become standard on all car seats-magnets to hold the buckles off to each side and out of the way, magnetic peek a boo canopy, flip down sun visor, and the built in serene screen privacy shade that is magnetic and stores inside it's own zippered compartment on top of the canopy when not in use.
But it was two amazing little features and one larger one that doesn't just set this car seat apart from all others, it catapults itself over them. First-the magnetic harness pads! Yes, I said magnetic-totally genius move! The other is the one handed handle adjust-no more leaning over baby in the vehicle to adjust the handle with both hands. Just slide the button over on top of the handle and adjust. The biggest one though, was the overall design and shape of this car seat. It was definitely designed to ensure comfort even for babies at the far end of the height and weight limits. Since my 18 month old is still within the limits (barely) I decided to let them test it out as well. They love this car seat and even fell asleep in it on the five minute drive to the grocery store. (That hasn't happened in months!!)
Installation of the base was a breeze. Took me less than a minute to have it securely and properly installed in my vehicle, and only fifteen seconds to remove!
Overall, if your looking for a high quality, eco-friendly, extremely safe car seat that will last and keep your baby comfy until they didn't fit into it anymore-get this car seat!! You will not be disappointed!

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this infant car seat! We absolutely loved this carrier. My husband is our car seat install guy so he handled installation, but it was such a breeze that I could have easily done it myself. Huge bonus having the load leg AND the rebound bar for extra stability and safety. Usually you get one or the other (or neither) so it’s such peace of mind having both.

As for the seat itself, it feels super high quality. The fabrics are soft and thick, and I can tell my baby is comfy in the seat. A small detail, but the strap covers are magnetic and feel way more luxe than the usual velcro or snap closure. Also LOVE the included privacy cover, which helps keep my baby content and asleep when we’re transitioning her from the car.

All in all this is a quality, high end infant carrier. There is not a single thing I would change!

I LOVE this car seat. Not only is it beautiful, with premium/luxurious materials, but it feels SAFE and my little guy loves it. I have to start with the safety features of this car seat because that’s what is most important to me when choosing a car seat. This seat exceeded my safety expectations. I’m not sure if it’s just me, but I’ve never been comfortable with the amount of wiggle left when I’ve strapped other car seats in. No matter how hard I pull on the seatbelt, it never seems to get tight enough. That is not at all the case with the SecureLoc system. The car seat did not wiggle at all, no matter how much force I threw at it. A huge plus in my book! I love the added rebound bar, steel support bar, and load leg. Installation was very easy. The manual did a great job of walking you through every step and the instructions on the seat base are a nice backup. Moving on to comfort. My son recently turned six months old. He hasn’t been a fan of car seats since the day he was born. I’m now wondering if we had the wrong car seat because I haven’t heard a peep out of him since we started using this seat. A miracle! Maybe it’s the Seawool? It truly is petal-soft. The leatherette handle is a nice touch too. Finally, I love the SereneScreen and peek-a-boo window. If I were to change anything about this product, I would make the magnets on the harness storage either larger or stronger as the buckle seems to miss more often than it latches. I would also make it easier to move the handle back to make it easier to move babies in and out while out of the car. Despite those very small suggestions, I would absolutely purchase this car seat myself and will be recommending it to all of my expecting friends. As a second-time mom to a baby and a toddler, I’ve had the opportunity to try out a variety of car seats, and the Juvi is an excellent choice. I installed this seat in my Hyundai Elantra, and after learning about the installation options, we installed using the LATCH system which was relatively simple.

What I love:
- The Seawool fabric is naturally flame retardant which is an absolute must for my family!
- The covers are removable and washable which is a huge plus because many car seats do not have this option.
- Safety is my top priority when it comes to car seats, and the Romer Juvi does not disappoint with an anti-rebound bar and load leg. These are high-end safety features that are great to have to keep your little one safe.
- The UPF 50+ canopy is one of my favorite features of the Romer Juvi. It provides excellent sun protection and can be extended for even more coverage using the magnetic “SereneScreen.” I’ve never seen a SereneScreen feature on a carseat before, and I absolutely love that you can provide a breathable but shaded private cocoon for your baby.
- The Romer Juvi is not only functional but also stylish. The fabrics are soft, breathable, and easy to clean, which is a must for any parent dealing with spills and messes. The seat looks and feels high-end, and I love the sleek design. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into both the aesthetics and the functionality of this car seat.
- The two padded inserts offer a customizable fit, and my baby seems to be comfortable in the seat. I also love that it comes with padded strap covers that have magnetic closures – easy to take on and off and comfortable for baby!

What could be improved:
- The installation process could be tricky for first-time users or those unfamiliar with car seat installation, particularly due to the unique SecureLoc system.
- The instructions could be clearer, which might confuse users who are not already familiar with car seat installation.
- The wording in the instructions and the unique design philosophy of the SecureLoc system might not be immediately intuitive for everyone.
- The handle is relatively wide, and as someone with petite hands, I found it challenging to carry one handed.

Overall, the Romer Juvi car seat is a fantastic investment for any parent. It’s safe, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with both parent and child in mind. My favorite feature is the adjustable canopy, which provides excellent sun protection and ensures my baby stays comfortable on the go. I was given this infant car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Wow, this infant car seat is the perfect combination of both safety and luxury. We’ve been using it for a few weeks now and both my baby (5 months old) and I love it! She loves how comfortable it is and how far down I can pull the canopy and visor (which has breathable mesh and is UPF 50+) and I love how many added safety features it has because it gives me peace of mind. The car seat was extremely easy to install, easy to click into the base and take off when we arrived at our destination (without your baby waking up!), as well as lightweight to carry.

I received the color “Pearl” which is a gorgeous charcoal heathered gray with the lighter pearl color. It pairs beautifully with the black features and mahogany leatherette handle grip. The fabric is innovative and practical, without sacrificing looks. It’s made of Seawool fabric (which thoughtfully includes recycled polyester and recycled oyster shells) so not only is it extremely soft, it’s also odor-resistant and moisture-wicking which is a HUGE bonus since sweet little babies tend to be a bit messy. And when you do need to wash it, the car seat cover can be machine washed and dried since it’s made from durable materials. I also love the magnetic technology and that I don’t have to worry about scratchy Velcro on the straps by my baby’s face.

As for safety, wow. I have 4 kids and I have never had a car seat with as many safety features as this. The car seat includes five trusted safety features: an anti-rebound bar, a steel support bar, a load leg, rigid LATCH, and SecureLoc™ - an exclusive automatic seat belt tensioner and lockoff technology.

I cannot recommend this car seat enough. Being a parent is so incredibly rewarding, but there are challenges and anxieties. I can confidently say that putting my baby in this car seat completely eases my mind because I know how incredibly safe she is and to me, that’s everything.
