Small, lightweight bottle parts like nipples and collar rings as well as pacifiers and breast pump parts are usually safe for the top rack of your dishwasher. The problem? It’s large compartment can accommodate a variety of baby feeding gear and even small plastic baby toys, while the inner shelf locks nipples in an upright position so they get a thorough cleaning. When your little one gets bigger and starts to use sippy cups with silicone or plastic straws, use OXO Tot’s flip-down straw holders to keep them standing straight up during cleaning.
While the larger size of this basket makes it great for getting a big load done, smaller dishwashers might not have the space for it. This basket from Boon is a bit smaller.
