Is it a choking hazard?
The rattles have passed CPSIA testing, including choking hazard testing. Just keep in mind they're designed as rattles, not as teethers.

Amazing elephant rattle from an amazing company
I purchased Toni The Elephant Rattle for my friend's new grandbaby who came unexpectedly a month early. A week after I ordered it, the provided tracking link continued to show that the post office was waiting to receive the package so they could ship it. I called Estella a few times during this process and spoke to the same gentleman each time. The first time I called him, he promised to contact the USPS and get an update for me since he had already dropped the package off for shipping a few days prior. I didn't hear back from him and called back a day or two later. He said he was still waiting to hear back from USPS. He promised me that if he didn't hear back from them by the end of the day, he would ship me a new rattle. He was a man of his word, and I promptly received the 2nd rattle which my friend's daughter absolutely loved. For the customer service and quality of Toni The Elephant Rattle, I will definitely be shopping Estella's site again for baby gifts!

Knit Baby Romper-Baby Bear & other items
This is the second order I have place with Estella. Included in this most recent order were 2 organic knit baby bear rompers, 1 organic knit love bug romper & matching stuffed ladybug, 1 newborn organic giraffe rattle & 1 newborn organic lion rattle. I decided to consolidate my comments for the myriad of products I bought with this order. As with my very first order in 2021…these items should continue to be a source of pride for Estella. The knitted organic cotton of the rompers will provide warmth to Eleanor Lorraine, Micah & Wyatt during the cold winter months. The quality of the fabric & the workmanship exhibits a clear, conscious effort for excellence. The design & styling is as cute as cute can be. The toy lion rattle & the toy giraffe rattle will provide Jacob Leon & Willow Marie the spark of fun which every Little One deserves.
