Description
This travel system comes with the PIPA urbn and the TAVO Stroller, allowing you to seamlessly move from car to stroller.
The ultra-lightweight infant car seat installs using the advanced pipaFIX rigid latch. The baseless installation feature is integrated into the car seat, allowing for super secure install in seconds. It also features a one-handed, quick release from the stroller and vehicle and Nuna’s Sky drape for privacy.
For safety, it features Aeroflex foam that’s lightweight, resilient and minimizes the force transferred to baby in the event of a collision.
The Tavo is a roomy ride with an all-season seat, sky smart canopy, luxe leatherette pushbar and compact fold. Progressive suspension technology creates a smooth ride and it opens and closes easily with just one hand.

Can you purchase the car seat alone? ?
The Nuna PIPA urbn is not sold separately at this time.
When the baby weighs more than 22 pounds, is there another car seat available for purchase that is compatible with stroller?
Yes, the Tavo is compatible with any of the Nuna PIPA Series Infant Car Seats. But the good news is by 22 lbs, baby is old enough to sit in the stroller seat on their own.
the description clearly states that the infant insert needs to be bought separately. would this be the wrong product for us if we need infant utility?
Apologies, not entirely understanding the question. Both the infant insert and infant car seat are included with this travel system.
Do this turn into a bassinet?
The TAVO can be turned into a makeshift bassinet, where you lay the back down and pull up the calf rest.
Can this car seat use a base since my car doesn’t have the latch?
No, the PIPA urbn can't be used with a base.

Hello! This infant car seat comes with infant inserts already; they don't need to be purchased separately (and can also be removed). The infant head support and body inserts feature environmentally friendly Merino wool and a TENCEL branded lyocell fiber blend that is soft and naturally controls moisture.
Does the car seat click into the stroller?
It does-- there are no additional adapters needed.
Do you need to use seatbelt and lower anchors together to secure car seat?
No, you would use one or the other- either by anchors or by seatbelt.
How many pounds does the car seat hold?
The Pipa urbn is suitable for infants weighing between 4 and 22 lbs.
Does the stroller stand upright by itself when folded?
The TAVO does not stand when folded, but the TAVO Next does if you're looking for that function.

Great stroller and car seat
So easy to put in the car and to maneuver. The stroller is great too! Love that it can work as a bassinet or have the child sitting straight up!

We absolutely love this car seat stroller set up. It’s so convenient to have a baseless car seat. I have found myself using it other cars more than I thought we would. The stroller is not a jogger by any means but it does the job. We live on a dirt road and it’s doing just fine.
It’s definitely chunky but I am super happy with the convenience and how useful it has been to us.

Requires more pieces
Buying it as a system implies it would come with the pieces necessary to use them together but it doesn't. You have to find the attachment pieces yourself online, one of the pieces is $75. For the price, the company should be taking care of this for you and it should be included.

Would recommend!
We love it for the price point! I feel confident baby is safe in the car seat and I love that we can easily take it back and forth between our cars. It did take a video call with Nuna before we were confident with how baby was sitting in the seat (he looked chin to chest and we were freaked out) but it’s all good now! Love the bassinet option in the stroller, we only use that and haven’t even used the car seat with it!

Just stop stressing and get this one
After extensive research, this is the set we decided on. It had the most benefits for the price point. Another reviewer mentioned their baby outgrew the car seat in 4 months, but that is definitely not the norm. I was so thankful to have this car seat because my son ended up being born at 5 lbs 10 oz and would have been too small for a lot of other options. The weight limit is less than other models at 22lbs, but most babies make it anywhere from 6 months to a year before hitting that mark. I personally would upgrade to a convertible car seat at this weight any way, because there is no way I’m lugging around a 30 lb baby in an infant car seat. Way too heavy. The baseless quick install has been a breeze. Whether he is going in my car, my partner’s, uncle’s, or his grandma’s- no need for a base for quick insert. I also really enjoy having our backseats free of the base when we are not transporting baby. The stroller is really nice. It feels luxury and well made and steers like a dream. The only con is that this is not a small, light weight stroller. It will take up trunk space and it isn’t super light. It is a great all arounder, however. The biggest benefit is that it has a built in infant lounge position which means you can use it from birth without the car seat. No need for bassinet attachment (which also saves $). It is not recommended that an infant stay in a car seat longer than 2 hours at a time, which is why so many people using the Doona as a stroller for every outing isn’t ideal.
If you are on the fence and can afford to upgrade to a convertible car seat option in about 8 months, get this. You won’t be disappointed. You’ll use the car seat portion less time, but it is way more convenient during that smaller time frame- which is the whole point of having an infant car seat to begin with and not just starting off straight away with a convertible.
Also, the refined color is beautiful. It is perfect in between since the black shows every hair and dust spot. Would buy again 100%.

Amazing
Absolutely love!! The car seat is so light even with the baby in it. And the stroller is so simple to break down and put up. It’s easy to lift into my trunk. And the car seat is such a breeze to put into any car!!

Not the convenient travel system I was hoping for living in midtown manhattan. The latch to fold the stroller down jams and I can’t fold or unfold it myself without brute force.
