Breathing Wear Bands
Overview
Description
The Breathing Wear band fits over most pajamas and works exclusively with the Nanit Plus and Nanit Pro cameras. It tracks breathing motion by reading subtle movements in the fabric’s custom pattern—no sensors on their body or in the crib. Should baby need your attention, you’ll receive alerts on both your phone (through the Nanit app) and your camera.
The soft 100% cotton bands have secure flaps and feather-soft edges. Breathing motion is detected in any position, so it’s OK if baby switches positions.

Q&A
It does! The 0-3M size is for babies weighing between 6 to 12.5 lbs. The chest circumference should be from 11.25" to 19.75".
The Large 3-pack uses the original sizing. So these will be for 3-24 months.
The three pack comes in the original sizing where the Large is meant for 3-24 months. The sizing in the description is the updated sizing for the bands that are sold as singles.
It can't. The Breathing Band can only be used over any garment if you place it underneath the baby’s arms.
For the camera to accurately track your baby's breathing motion, it is important that the Breathing Wear band is visible without any obstructions. So it is not recommended to use a swaddle on top of the band.
Great question! The breathing wear bands will work correctly no matter how the baby likes to sleep (belly, back or side). As long as the breathing wear band pattern is not obstructed by another item (like a blanket or stuffed animal) the camera can detect breathing from all angles.
This Breathing Band does work if used over most pajamas and sleep sacks, as long as you place it around your baby's torso and under their arms so that it stays secure.
