Motorola VM50G 5" Video Baby Monitor

I really loved this camera to start, then unfortunately it stopped moving and reading the temperature of the room even after being on for a while. Return process was simple and easy though!

For the past 3 months, we loved the simplicity of this product. It was easy to move around, no WiFi and worked well enough for us to hear our baby when we were downstairs.

Unfortunately the device stopped charging and it is not able to sustain a charge for us to use it anymore.

Loved at first but after about 2 months we started having a lot of trouble with the charging cord to the monitor. Had to be in a very specific position and is very sensitive.

The camera quality is so blurry that it's completely useless. We tried resetting and adjusting night vision but nothing helped. I don't think I would be able to tell if a baby was even in the crib - it was so blurry I couldn't even tell that I was looking at the CRIB itself! After looking at amazon reviews it seems that many other people have this problem. Really disappointing. We are returning.

If you like monitors that have twin access this is your monitor. The night vision is amazing! Which often is an issue with monitors. I enjoyed the double camera feature and ultimately has become our go to monitor! Great job Motorola!

This camera monitor has been an absolute life saver. I have a two year old and a new born both of which require a lot of monitoring. With this monitor I'm able to view both of them at the same time and it gives me a peace of mind. Both cameras were easy to install and the monitor was easy to use as well. I bought a mounting attachment on Amazon and that was also easy to use and install. I highly recommend this monitor to parents of small children or twins. Must have!

I got this in replacement of my HelloBaby. First off I can actually add more cameras which is a plus with having a 10 year old autistic boy and a 6 month old baby. It has been a blessing to see clearly what my oldest is doing on his own. I can see his stimming behavior and make sure he isn't hurting himself. As for my youngest I am able to see him while he naps and have no worries. Sound quality is amazing as I can hear almost anything. The ease of use on this product is unbelievable. Very easy to set up and the interface when you turn on is to the point and not confusing. The quality of product is beautiful as well. They make these cameras look nice to put in the nursery and where ever else. I love the big screen on the viewer. It isn't too heavy to carry around. This product has been quite used and I have not run into any issue. I will be buying this for a family members baby shower soon!

There are so many baby monitors on the market these days to choose from and it seems like every monitor has a bunch of people that like each monitor and a bunch of people that don't like each monitor. We have some older children and a baby, so we liked that this came with two cameras and that we can add more, which we may do at some point. This package does exactly what it is intended to do, which is to monitor babies. We liked that each camera can give you the room temperature. Also we liked the split screen option so we could monitor two separate areas. The sounds feature was helpful for our baby to help soothe them to sleep. The intercom feature was nice to have with the older kids if we needed to be in another room so we could instruct them to stay out of the snacks or get back to doing their homework. The cameras can move so you can pan around the room to see what is going on and make adjustments if needed. I do wish that the picture quality was better. It's not usually very clear and it seems like most of the time it's in the night vision mode. My house is not dark inside by any means during the day, but it must be too dark for the cameras because it is black & white a good amount of time. The picture quality reminds me of technology from about 10 years ago. It is definitely not HD. We have also had some issues with the cameras losing connections, even from short distances. When this happens it continues to beep until the connection is made again to the monitor. Another thing that I do like about this is that it's safer than using wi-fi cameras and I can rest assured that hackers aren't monitoring mine and my baby's every move. It did take some time (but not too long) to figure out the controls on the monitor and how to navigate things. Once I figured it out it really did not take too much time and now it's like second nature. Overall, I would recommend this monitor set. The pros outweigh the cons overall. This is a good baby monitor set.

I never write reviews, but after all the research I put into this I thought I should. After reading reviews online and on websites and watching YouTube videos for about a week I finally decided to order this monitor. The reviews however on this are not great throughout the different websites but I often wonder how picky are the people who leave reviews and do they consider themselves some sort of critic? So I wanted to let everyone know that I am just a mom of two babies and my goals for this monitor were to be able to see both of my children as their rooms are across the house from us. I wanted a split screen, I wanted audio for both cameras, everything included, and I wanted a long range monitor. And with this monitor I got all of those things. My favorite feature of this monitor would have to be the timed screening of the cameras. So I can have the camera switch back-and-forth about every seven seconds and that comes the full screen view and audio as well. I also did not measure the yardage but I took this monitor down the street to the other side of my neighbors house and made it almost 1/2 a block before I lost signal.

Great quality! I love the ability to move the camera around and having two of them allows for even more area covered. The style is great and it is easy to setup.
