Description
The Lorena Canals RugCycled Collection is the first upcycled washable rug collection on the market. Made by hand, the rugs are timeless and beautiful with clean lines and natural cotton.
To make the rugs, leftover production fabric is shredded into fibers and spun into recycled yarn that’s used for the canvas base. The designs are then tufted on top in natural, undyed cotton, creating a soft and plush surface.
This process gives a second life to their textile leftovers to achieve zero waste, and the dye-free collection saves up to 90% in water and energy. The durable, washable rugs still maintain their high quality standards and signature style.
The hand-tufted Rugcycled ABC Washable Rug features the complete alphabet with long recycled yarn fringes on both edges. The alphabet appears debossed on the surface, leaving bare areas on the canvas to outline the letters. Kids can even learn their ABCs by tracing the letters with their fingers.
