Tricycoo 4.1 Trike
Overview
Description
The Tricycoo 4.1 is pretty much everything you could ask for in a tricycle. It’s designed to help wobbly babies find their confidence and coordination (starting at 10 months), and transitions into full independence mode when they’re ready.
Stage 1: 10 months+ Push Trike Stage In this stage, grown-ups are in full control. Use the adjustable parent handle to steer your little one and keep them safe with the padded enclosed seat and three-point harness. The extra-large UPF 50 canopy offers plenty of sun protection.
Stage 2: 18 months+ Push Trike Stage When those little legs get longer, use the flip-down footrest for added support and unlock the pedals to ensure you have control of the pace. Remove the seat pads to encourage them to use their own muscles to get comfy. You’re one step closer to letting them ride solo.
Stage 3: 24 months+ Training Trike Stage Lock the pedals and let your little one take the Tricycoo for a spin. Remove the enclosed armrests and canopy to give them the opportunity to balance on their own, and use the parent handle if they still need a little help steering.
Stage 4: 30 months+ Trike Stage When they’ve graduated to this stage, remove the parent handle and let them loose for some kid-powered fun. Use the adjustable seat feature to accommodate their growing leg and pop a water bottle into the cup holder.

PROS
- love the cushioned seat + ease of washing the cushion
- enjoy that he has a cup holder for drinks or his toys
CONS
- The canopy, which was a huge selling point for me, hardly provides any coverage and is really flimsy so you can't open and close with one hand.
- The telescopic handle slides down at even the slightest hint of uneven terrain e.g going up a curb, any gravel paths, any grass, hills, etc - this has gotten worse with time
- The wheel lock mechanism would sometimes work and sometimes not despite being locked in place. My son couldn't pedal but it would come loose while I was pushing and knock his feet.
- The rim on the wheel constantly pops off and has to be pushed in.
- I strongly dislike that the seat isn't easily adjusted with a button.
- The basket in the back hardly holds anything without it falling/bouncing out, wish they would have made the walls for it higher so it actually contains things better.
- There is no lock to keep the child from moving the steering wheel when a parent is pushing.
All in all I'm pretty sad that the quality of the tricycoo didn't quite meet my expectations after excitedly adding it to our Christmas list.
