Overview

Description

The SNOO Sleep Sack is a cozy swaddle made of 100% organic cotton with special wings that attach to the SNOO Smart Sleeper Bassinet.

Designed to go on fast (SNOO calls it “the world’s first 5-second swaddle”), the Sleep Sack has a double zipper that allows you to zip from the top or bottom. The inner arm wrap and leg flap have extra-quiet secure Velcro while breathable mesh on the shoulders and waist help to reduce overheating. Arm openings can unsnap to allow for arms out (some babies prefer this), and the Sleep sack also promotes a healthier hip position.

This newest version of the SNOO Sleep Sack includes an additional strap between the legs as well as a wider opening for hip placement.

SNOO comes with one set of Sleep sacks (Small, Medium and Large), but it’s great to have extras for laundry day or when there’s a mess.

Peace of Mind
The snoo swaddles with the snoo is such a wonderful peace of mind combo for a FTM. It's wonderful knowing that my baby is safe while in them and the snoo & I can get a little extra sleep.

Sizing is off
Don’t order this one. It is smaller and tighter than the original one that came with our SNOO very disappointing.

Velcro needs improvement
While this sleep sack is super easy to use, the Velcro needs some improvement. The ends tend to curl up after a while and it's just not that sticky as the Velcro on other swaddles out there. We shouldn't have to " double swaddle" bc this swaddle is inferior.

The only sleepsac that worked for us
Okay, so I went sleepsac nuts. I seriously have at least 9 different varieties and happiest baby is what consistently worked for us at night. My son was born just under 10 lbs. At 2 months he's nearing 15 lbs and 25 inches. He's a big, strong, active baby. We just could not swaddle him tight enough in any other sac. I also worried about him being too warm in summer in the others.

I bought the happiest baby 3 pack and I'm glad I did because just this week we graduated to the L size. We needed to go a little larger because of the length, but also because we double swaddle with a blanket to further hold his arms down. Google it - happiest baby double swaddle. Saved me from going mad at 3 am at about 4 weeks PP.

I've sent these to a few other parent friends too. At the end of the day, find what works for you and use it. For us, this is what did the trick!

Easy to use
I love that these swaddles are super-quick and easy to use. I love the clean lines of the design and the baby looks adorable in it. The disadvantages in my opinion are that you can't use it outside the Snoo if you want to rock your baby/do the other 5 S's while swaddled (unless you're okay with the heavy clips hanging off the side, which is awkward). We have been using the Sleepea swaddle for getting ready for bed, and *then* putting the baby in the Snoo Sleep Sack, but we feel a little bad because it's two zippers bunched up by her chin. I wish there were an equivalently fast swaddle insert you could put in this sleep sack. The other disadvantage is that the mesh shoulders have consistently been too large for my baby and I have to purposefully tuck the top under her chin so that it doesn't ride up.

Easy to use!
This sleep sac is so soft and easy to use. It's a beautiful design too! The only reason it's not 5 starts for us is that our little guy is so big he busts out of it when he wakes up and his arms come out. When he was smaller it was ideal.

Small sleep sack is too big :(
I'm super bummed! With this being our 3rd and final baby (after two co-sleepers) I was planning to start using the snoo right away to Unfortunately, our 8 lb newborn doesn't fit into the sleep sack as he's supposed to. There's no way to keep the sleep sack from riding up to his chin/face and the instructions clearly state to not allow this to happen for safety reasons. For the future an XS sleep sack should be an option.

Just OK
I want to love this swaddle, I really do. I think it's a creative design, but my son wants to be swaddled in a different way than this provides. He wants a full body hug, and this is more of a straight jacket.

As far as the construction of the swaddle goes, it is high quality, it just has a design flaw. The Velcro strip that secures the baby inside the sleep sack is longer than the fabric is wide so it ends up snagging on my son's clothes.

At the end of the day, we're paying +$150 a month to rent the Snoo, so I expect perfection. This swaddle isn't it.

This sack is different from
This sack is different from the white ones it comes with- much easier to break out of. Would recommend the white baseline ones only and only get these sacks if no other option.

It hasnt worked for us
It hasnt worked for us because baby is 5 pounds 14 oz and the top of the sack edges up over this shoulders and chin. Hoping it will work better when he is bigger.
