Disappointed
I hate to write a poor review as I really do love the gathre products and have purchased multiple other great toys for my children. Unfortunately, my blackboard arrived damaged. I was offered the option to return or receive a 10% refund. I didn’t feel that a 10% return was sufficient given the damage (and price) but I wasn’t in a position to facilitate a return due to being on maternity leave. Customer service was unwilling to provide any further discount. I was disappointed with their response. In my opinion the product is not well made for the price. It is quite flimsy.

Cheap and uneven
Very disappointing. The white side is lumpy and awful, the chalkboard side, the black is very uneven. Company support was not helpful. Would only over a small discount, or an exchange where I have to pay for the packing/return. Terrible experience, pass on this board

Great size!
I love the size of this chalkboard! It’s also very well made! A few things though, the wood stains veeeeerry easily which is an bummer since it’s a whiteboard and my kids stained it with dry erase markers pretty much the first day we got it. Also, it only comes with hardware to hang on one side when it should come with hardware to hang on both sides since it’s reversible! That way you can flip it over depending on what side you’re using and still be able to hang it- which is a necessity so that…

Lovely!
The board is great and I have fun playing in it with my son. Makes learning and creativity more appealing to him. My only struggle is that it doesn’t come with the stand and the stand is unavailable to purchase now. So it leans on my walls and falls all the time. I’m still trying to think of a solution to get it to sit up right without mounting.

Overpriced
Definitely overpriced for what it is. The stand isn’t in stock, but read it still falls down even with the stand. Like most items from Gathre…way OVERPRICED!

Not what we expected
We expected the chalkboard to come with a floor stand (as the photos show and all other brands provide) but it only comes with some wall hinges - in that case customers wouldn’t even be able to use both sides? After doing more research I returned to the site to purchase the stand and it’s sold out. Ridiculous.
