When the lid is up, the pail is approximately 36"H.
For ultimate freshness, it is recommended the carbon filter be replaced each month.
If a Diaper Genie smells, it likely means the bag is full, the filter needs replacing or the pail itself hasn't been cleaned, causing a build-up of odor from dirty diapers. Some smell is inevitable due to the nature of diapers, but regular cleaning and timely filter changes can significantly minimize it.
Diaper Genie only sells unscented for the Platinum model.
The Diaper Genie Platinum Stainless Steel Diaper Pail does not feature a child lock mechanism.
This hasn't been tested to determine whether pets, such as dogs, can access the contents of the pail. While there is no lock, the pail is designed to be securely closed with a lid and clamp. It would likely be a challenge for a dog to push open the lid, but it isn't guranteed to be pet-proof.
This diaper pail is only compatible with the Easy Roll Refill Bags.
The Platinum pail is 9inches wide.
You can totally use it for cloth diapers.
