Description
The Crane 0.5 Gal. Droplet Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier is designed for small-to-medium size rooms (up to 250 sq ft). The soothing moisture provides up to 15 hours of relief for dryness, congestion and other cold and flu symptoms.
When the water runs out, an automatic shut-off safety feature turns the Humidifier off. It’s also whisper quiet—a great option for light sleepers and babies.
The Humidifier has three output settings, low, medium and high, and the adjustable 360° mist lid allows you to send the mist in any direction you like.
For even more soothing relief, add a Crane Vapor Pad (sold separately).

Difficult to refill, but works well
The top and bottom parts seal together and since the bottom is round and the top is smooth, it's impossible to separate the two without spilling water everywhere. Yes, there is a handle on top, but it doesn't help at all when you try to pull them apart (for cleaning or refilling). That being said, it looks nice and works well.

Impossible to clean
This humidifier is the worst. There's no way to clean the inside of the reservoir so it gets nasty inside the tank even with regularly emptying and refilling, and cleaning with white vinegar. The only reason I wouldn't give this zero stars is because I like having the ability to change the mist output with the dial. It's also extremely irritating that there's no way to turn off the little indicator light and it's extremely bright in an otherwise dark nursery. Get the top fill model and save yourself the aggravation of trying to clean this one

How on earth do you take the tank off?
I literally can’t figure out how to remove the tank from the base without spilling water everywhere. Is there a button I’m missing? I’m having to just yank the two pieces apart and hope for the best. Works great when it’s operating, but man oh man it’s a mess to refill.

No mist!
I wonder if Crane will print this low review.
I followed all the directions carefully. The green light goes on, but no mist comes out of the top. I've emptied it 3 times & refilled & tried again & again. No mist. Fresh out of the box. HUGE disappointment. Will try to return. I question all the 4-5 star reviews.

Original Was Better
The water tank has a poor fit. It will either suck so tight I cannot separate it to refill or leaks mist around base if I do not push it down with pressure. The plastic is of lesser quality compared to the gallon humidifier I bought a few years ago. Disappointing to see a good product lose its quality.

Bright lightlight
The humidifier works great but it has a bright green light when it’s on that is impossible to turn off. It’s inside the water tank so you can’t even cover it up

Leaks all its water!!
Worst humidifier!!! Don’t waste your money!! I bought two and they leak all the water!! At first o thought it was me who did not closed it correct but when I tried it again!! Water was all over the side table! Causes damage to the wood and I’m out 200.00. I’m currently trying to return it cuz they are worthless.
