Take Along Carrier Toy Bar

The Velcro strap caused a cut, with bleeding to our grandson. Be careful.

This toy bar is easily one of my son's favorites but there is one GLARING design flaw that infuriates me. The zebra spinner has a gap between the bar and the top of the toy inside. The balls get stuck and the toy won't spin. It's v hard for a baby to unstick it which results in lots of tantrums.

I brought this 3 months ago and I put it on the babies car seat, and he loves it! He's always playing with it but gets frustrated because the zebra rattle always gets stuck after a few spins.

Toy is cute. Nice songs and not loud.
But I was sad because my kid loved it and after 3 days, like happened for other parents, we lost first the music then the light. Tried to replace the battery with no success.
My husband knows how to do a bit of DIY so he opened the toy and the components are really simple.
Music: the wires are attached weakly so they come loose with the baby kicking the toy. He soldered it back and we had music again.
Light: power contact is on the short side so sometimes battery can't touch properly and power can't reach the circuit. I found a fix for that too.
We got the toy functioning again but that should not be necessary with a quality product.

I replaced the batteries 3 times before the old ones ran out of juice and the toy stopped working. I put the old batteries back and the toy worked fine.

My parents bought this toy for our son when he was 2 months old. He really took to it. He started out by kicking it and then later grabbing it. We do not use it on his car seat but had connected it to a basket in his playroom and when he could sit in his high chair we moved it there. The songs are cute and not annoying. The animals are cute and spin well on the bar. Although the songs are cute and volume is not too loud I would prefer all toys to come with on/off and volume control options that way you can conserve the battery and if it accidentally gets tapped it doesn't go off during naps or randomly and scare you.

Like many others, replaced batteries and zero sound/music; only light flashes.

To change the battery it is a pain. The screw is different from the other screws in the toy and won't come out without a lot of work, and by then the screw is damaged. It is as if the screw is stuck. This the second time this has happened to us. First time we called and they replaced the whole toy (We just wanted the stupid screw). Now I have to change the battery and if I can open it I will have to tape the back of the toy because the screw is just falling apart but not bulging.

I bought this for my son when he was a baby and he loved it. It always kept him entertained! Eventually he grew out of ithe and I put it away for awhile. Well now I'm expecting another child in less than a month and pulled the toy out to replace the batteries. The screw for the battery cover just kept spinning like it's stuck or something! I tried taking out the other 4 screws but tried he cover will not come off. What good is a toy that makes sounds if you can't replace the batteries?

I just bought this for my granddaughter and she loves it! This will make the ride easier on her mother on the way to the babysitter and other rides! I read the battery info and bought an extra set. I hope this product lasts - I will definitely look for other items from this company.
