I never realized how important it was to purchase a good baby carrier. I bought a cheap carrier for my baby and it didn’t last long. The carrier was not supportive to my back and was tight on my baby’s thighs.
I decided it was time to give in and purchase a new baby carrier. I always thought that prices for baby carriers were ridiculous highly — I do still believe some are overpriced. I settled on Baby Bjorn and I will say that I do no regret spending the money for this carrier and it is very comfortable and fitting to both me and my baby! My husband loves to baby wear when we are out and he himself is also very happy with the purchase!
If any other mom was to ask me my advice, I would tell them to invest in a good baby carrier!

Admirably convenient
I love how easy it is to strap the baby into this carrier after having struggled with others, and how secure the the fasteners are at the same time (I deliberately pulled on them in every direction. Worth every penny.

Meh
I’ll start with this has been very comfortable for me at a petite 5’2. It took a little fidgeting to figure out how to readjust it to my husband’s 6’2 frame. Lumbar support is great. Always has been. Idk that it’s very body inclusive. If either of us were slightly bigger, I’m not sure it would fit… although maybe with more fidgeting, we’d figure it out.
Now the baby hated it until almost 4 mos old. And he now just tolerates it because it’s getting nice out and he likes seeing everything. I still haven’t figured out how to get it so he is up high enough for him to not have the flap keep hitting him in the face. I definitely haven’t figured out how to put it on and off and take a sleeping baby out. I can, however take it on and off by myself and remove him by myself. He just definitely will wake up.
All in all, I’d say that it’s not a bad product, just disappointing as an only carrier and very expensive.

Good lightweight but structured carrier
This was our third try at finding a carrier that worked for our family and I'm glad we finally settled on the Carrier Free. My husband couldn't reach the ones that clip in the back and his body heat always left him and the baby sweating. This was perfect since it clips and adjusts in the front and is made of lightweight mesh so they don't get as warm. My only note is that the fabric that hangs down is a bit awkward, but you can tuck that up into the carrier (between you and baby) and then it's perfectly normal!

Buckle is uncomfortable for baby
The buckle over your abdomen where your baby sits against is a hard thick plastic. My baby cries each time I put her In this. I know it’s the buckle because she does fine in the infantino carrier which has no buckle. Another thing is my baby wants to look around when I walk but the side fabric is in her way. Will return and continue my search for a better carrier. Everything else about the carrier is great for the adult but it’s useless if the baby is uncomfortable.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!
I was using the carrier that I had when this one was delivered, and let me tell you... NIGHT & DAY!! I stripped off the old one and jumped into this one. What a difference! We are loving it! Especially my back and shoulders.
