Description
Baby K’tan ready-to-wear wraps are ideal for parents who can’t face the usual 10-plus steps required to use a wrap carrier, but still want the snuggly closeness of one.
Made from soft breathable cotton, the Baby K’tan uses a unique patented double loop design with a one-way stretch to hold baby safely and securely in place. It’s buckle-free and slips on like a tee-shirt quickly and comfortably.
It offers five carry positions that transition from a sling wrap position for newborns to an upright seated position for babies and toddlers up to 35 lbs. (It does require some practice to master the steps of adjusting the material into various positions, but instructions and videos are endless.)
The wrap is approved Hip Healthy by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute and also supports easy breastfeeding on the go. It comes with a carrying pouch that doubles as a supportive sash for your back.
Like most wraps, the K’tan is best for smaller babies. It doesn’t have structured support to carry heavier babies for long periods of time. And unlike a typical wrap, the Baby K’tan comes in specific sizes—a partner or caregiver whose body size is different from yours won’t be able to share it. The carrier size generally corresponds to your fitted (tight) T-shirt size. If you’re in-between sizes, size down. The carrier is meant to fit snugly. And if you’re pregnant, select your pre-pregnancy size.
