12 Questions
Why all the good reviews on this humidifier are on July 1st? ?

These reviews were synced from Maxi-Cosi's site on that date.

Does this also dehumidify?

No

Does this require a filter that would need be to be changed?

This only has a ceramic filter that needs to be cleaned every 250 gallons.

Is this a cool mist humidifier?

It is! This has an ultrasonic cool mist with three mist levels.

Does the humidifier collect condensation on the outside?

A humidifier can actually control condensation. But if excess condensation happens, it might be because the humidifier is turned up too high.

Can you have more than one humidifier connected to the app?

You can definitely connect multiple humidifiers to the app. It's convenient to manage them all from one place.

Does it have UV to kill bacteria?

This is a humidifier and it doesn't work as an air purifier.

Can it be used as a diffuser as well?

Absolutely! This has a built-in aromatherapy tray (scent pads and oils sold separately) to enhance your child’s calming sleep atmosphere.

Does this have multiple colors for a night light?

It does! This humidifier has color-changing lights that illuminate the base

How often should it be cleaned?

How often you'll need to clean the humidifier depends on a couple of factors. If you use filtered or distilled water and only run the humidifier a few nights a week, you might not have to clean it as often. But if you're using tap water and running it every night, it might need more frequent cleaning. Just keep an eye on it and follow the manufacturer's instructions for cleaning and maintenance to make sure it stays in good shape.

Would not recommend
Been using it for a little over a year and the last few months we get “low water” alerts 1-2 hours after turning it on even though we’ve just filled it. It’s in our baby’s room so we can’t go in to unplug / restart it and ends up being off the whole night. Check it the next morning and it’s still filled with water.

Short lived
We have used this for about 16 months now. Initially we liked it, however around 12 months it started making an odd noise and the mist doesn’t stay running. The warranty only covers a year so unfortunately we are just out our money. We also really liked the app. Really disappointed in the overall longevity. We cleaned it regularly, but definitely challenging to clean. We had to purchase another brand for our baby’s room.

Great when it works, but has LOTS of issues
When this product works as it is supposed to, I love it. But unfortunately, it has SO many issues that I had to buy a new humidifier from someone else.
Recurring issues: EF error - I continue to get errors about water level (even though the water is never at the level that it is saying is erroring out). It will tell me its too high, but it's below the max fill line. It will tell me it's too low, but I just filled it and it's almost to the max fill line.
It will randomly dump water into the lower base after I fill it, causing me to have to dump the base and refill again. It will cycle through this repeatedly which is exhausting and frustrating, especially when I'm just trying to fill it for my baby's bedtime.
It will randomly leak all the water out the bottom - which could cause damage to our floors, rugs, etc.

When it does work, I love the night mode and the automated settings. The look is nice and sleek too. It is nice to be able to control from my phone, so I can turn it on if out-of-town and Grandma forgets to.

This humidifier is constantly shutting off. disconnecting from WiFi, and telling me the water is too low after I’ve just refilled it. It’s like my baby doesn’t have a humidifier at all how infrequently I can get it to actually run. Then it gets moldy easily since it’s always idle.

It’s a NO for me
This humidifier had good reviews which is why I purchased it but after having it for 5 months, I’m ready to throw this in the trash. I follow the directions but somehow the base always gets too much water in it, and the tank pours when you remove it from the base so my ground is always soaked. It’s a never ending circle. Spend your money on quality brands cause this is isn’t it.

Not good
Leaks, everywhere. Regardless of cleaning, resetting and following instructions explicitly. Ruins furniture.

Small water tank
I love how it matches the other products in the connected suite, however, the water tank is quite small that I have to refill it often, thankfully the app alerts you to refill the tank.

Amazing humidifier
This thing is fantastic. We had a regular humidifier but being able to control via phone without waking up the baby is amazing. You can let it automatically work and adjust or manually input by itself. I love this thing

Auto-Humidity Sensing is Everything
My daughter's nose gets congested so often even when it's hot but her congestion has eased up since we started using this. I've had this for a few weeks and nothing can beat the auto-humidity sensing, my husband and I are planning to get one for our son's room. The mobile app makes it easy to manage, and the light features make it fun for my daughter. This humidifier is all-in-one. Such a brilliant product.
