The Top 5 Baby Products Parents Said They Registered for in 2026
The Top 5 Baby Products Parents Said They Registered for in 2026

Ever wish you could ask thousands of new parents which baby product was the best thing on their entire baby registry? We do…so we did!

Each year, Babylist parents tell us about their most-loved baby gear in our annual survey. This year, we added an extra question: What’s the best baby product you registered for? Almost 6,000 parents weighed in, and their replies ranged from classic GOATed picks to newer gear you may not know about. Let’s count it down.

What Makes a Registry Pick Worth It?

A few themes kept coming up again and again as we combed through replies. Before we get to the countdown, here’s what surfaced across all of your best-of picks.

⏱️ Time-savers were a big hit. You loved products that take the thinking out of the daily tasks that never end, especially in those first few months. Newborn-stage items were extra popular, with parents saying they wouldn’t have gotten through the early weeks without them.

💸 Splurges are fine—if you use them. You were happy to spend on big-ticket items, but with one caveat—you used them daily. About one in five answers mentioned using the item “every day” or “constantly.” Many parents also said they never would have bought the item for themselves, which is why gifts and group gifts came up often.

😴 Peace of mind is the best feature. If a product helped you sleep, helped your baby sleep or helped you worry less about sleep in general, you were all in.

🔁 Longevity rules. There were lots of mentions of favorite gear that grows with your baby or lasts through a second kid. “Buy once, use for years,” came up again and again.

Ready to see what made the list? Here’s the countdown.

The Best Baby Products Parents Said They Registered For

5. Nanit Pro Smart Baby Monitor and Wall Mount

The number five spot goes to the Nanit, the WiFi baby monitor that provides sleep analytics and a crystal-clear view of your baby anywhere, anytime. Parents love it for easing sleep anxiety and because all they need is a phone to check in on baby wherever they are.

💬 “The Nanit has increased both mine and my baby’s sleep. It has decreased my anxiety. And allows me more access to see my baby."

💬 “Nanit! We love all of the features and video playback and being able to see our children when we are away. Gives peace of mind.”

Next up is a stroller parents love for its value, longevity and durability: the Mockingbird Single-to-Double. This convertible stroller grows right along with your family, with the option to add a second seat for a sibling and even a ride-along board if you have a third. At just over $500, it’s an incredible value, especially since it performs similarly to strollers that cost twice as much.

💬 "We love our Mockingbird stroller and we know that we've gotten our money's worth with it because it is used so frequently and has transitioned with us as our family has grown."

💬 “We’ve used it every day, and it’ll work for us for years. It’s high quality and will last.”

The Doona is an innovative car seat + stroller hybrid that effortlessly transitions between the two modes. It’s not the right fit for every family, but for the right lifestyle, parents can’t stop talking about their Doona love.

💬 "Perfect fit for our lifestyle. I don't know what we'd do without it. Easy to travel with—not having to manage a car seat and stroller is great. Allows us to easily travel throughout the city without having a car."

💬 "The Doona. The ease of use is unmatched. I know it is pricey, but you use it every day for up to 18 months.”

2. BabyBjörn Bouncer Bliss

Parents’ number two pick is a Swedish bouncer that’s been around for decades—and still gets rave reviews. The BabyBjörn bouncer is one of the IYKYK baby products. Its modern, simple design fits almost any aesthetic, it’s light and easy to move around your space and babies love it—even from day one.

💬  "It was a huge help those first few months to have a safe spot for the baby to sit. Our baby loved [it]! I tell everyone to register for it since we used it that much!"

💬  “It was expensive but so worth it. Our son loved it and it was lighter and easier to move than a swing.”

💬  "Best thing was the babybjorn bouncer. Our baby had reflux so it was super helpful keeping him upright after feedings.”

And the best product parents said they registered for in 2026? 🥁… Momcozy’s KleanPal bottle washer. It was the most-named single product in our survey replies and the item parents raved about the most.

Bottle washers are a brand-new category of baby gear, launched in 2023, but they’ve already made a big impact. Parents are completely obsessed with these countertop gadgets, and for good reason: these all-in-one scrubbers, sterilizers and dryers make one of the most taxing everyday chores of parenthood so much easier.

💬 “I would not live without that thing. Just put items in there and easily clean, steam and dry them. It’s awesome!"

💬 "The Momcozy bottle washer…It literally saved my sanity. I would not have been able to feed my baby breast milk without that thing. Incredible. Worth every penny."

💬 "I don’t have a dishwasher, and it saves a lot of time on sterilizing.”

Pro tip: while the Momcozy KleanPal won out, parents also shared a lot of love for the bottle washer that started it all, the Baby Brezza Bottle Washer Pro. If you’re trying to decide between the two, the main difference is in how the bottle washers drain dirty water. The KleanPal has a drain hose that needs to expel dirty water, so you’ll need to make room for it near your sink. The Brezza, however, has removable clean and dirty water tanks instead of a hose, so it doesn’t require a sink hookup and can be used anywhere you have the space in your home.
