The 38 Best Baby Products Under $100 to Add to Your Registry
Got $100? You can afford these highly rated baby items, from bottle sterilizers to baby carriers.

Baby stuff can get pretty expensive, especially if you buy new rather than secondhand—namely your stroller, car seat and nursery furniture. But you can get plenty of other staples for under $100, including baby carriers, feeding essentials, toys and clothes.
With the average gift giver spending between $80 and $100 on a baby shower present, products in this price range make great additions to your registry—whether it’s something practical like a stainless steel diaper pail or something super gifty like an heirloom-quality infant sweater.
And if you’re a friend or relative of a parent-to-be reading this, consider the items below as you’re shopping your loved one’s baby registry. Our most recent survey of thousands of Babylist parents shows that today’s expecting parents largely prefer to receive baby gifts that are “useful” and “practical”—though they wouldn’t mind a few gifty things—and many of them called out the specific products below.

Diapering & Toiletries
It may not seem super exciting to give diapering products as gifts, but you can’t get any more useful or practical than this. Some Babylist parents really did mention things like diapers and diaper pails as their favorite baby products in our survey—one parent said they loved receiving their diaper pail simply because “it’s a necessity.” But if you’re looking to make a diapering necessity more giftable, some of them come in curated gift boxes.
Feeding
Some baby feeding products can look downright utilitarian (looking at you, bottle sterilizers), but when parents call them “game changers” and “the best product hands down,” you know it’s an exciting gift to receive. And with many of these nursing and bottle-feeding products falling in the $50–$100 range, they make great registry items for friends and family to consider.
On the Go
Carriers and diaper bags can often be on the pricier side, but there are some well-loved options that are within the average gift budget, so you can make sure you have those on-the-go items covered. Carriers in particular were deemed “essential” by parents in our survey, with several respondents saying these products “saved their sanity.”
Playtime
This is where the fun begins, and not just for baby. Many gift givers will gravitate toward toys and books knowing they’ll bring baby lots of joy, and there are so many options for under $100. The Kick & Play Piano from Fisher-Price is a particular favorite among Babylist parents (several parents said their baby is “obsessed”)—it landed the number two spot out of all play gyms, and was the number one play gym under $100.
Sleep
Plenty of affordable sleep products are popular among today’s parents, but topping that list will forever be sound machines—especially if you choose one that multitasks, like the Hatch Rest, which one parent in our survey called “an essential part of our bedtime routine.” Products that help baby sleep and do multiple jobs are always solid additions to a registry.
Clothes
Clothes are another super popular gifting category, and it can be worth that extra bit of money for a multi-piece set (many even come in a gift box already). Also in this price range are specialty clothes like winter gear, premium fabrics and heirloom-quality designs.

Gift Cards & Cash Funds
If there’s a set budget, then gift cards and cash are the way to go. The Babylist Shop gift card can be used toward anything in our online store, and cash funds give you the option to allocate money to wherever it’s needed most, whether that’s a diaper fund, a childcare fund or even a babymoon fund. And don’t forget services, too—things like meal delivery will be so, so appreciated once baby arrives.
