Description
Reef is a multi-terrain stroller crafted from materials that look and feel luxurious yet stand up to everyday life. It’s designed with a robust frame and flexible suspension for strolls everywhere, plus the large, multi-terrain tires are puncture-proof and surrounded by springs. Newborn-ready straight out of the box, it grows with baby through toddlerhood up to 55 lbs.
Their latest model has a few design upgrades including a softer four-wheel suspension and more spacious, sculpted seat. It also offers an easier, intuitive fold mechanism and larger hood for more coverage.
Reef has been cleverly designed to fold down one-handed in seconds facing either way. It stands independently on its own four wheels without the handle touching the floor, keeping the vegan leather and your hands clean. More to feel good about: the outer fabrics are woven exclusively with yarn from recycled plastic bottles (35 bottles in the seat unit and 12 in the first-bed bassinet).
Reef features a spring-loaded, no-rethread harness system with magnetic buckles allowing you to adjust both the headrest and harness with one hand—switching between positions at the push of a button. Adjustable calf support and the multi-recline seat offer a fully flat recline for extra baby comfort. And the large, easy-to-access basket has a 22 lbs capacity.

Q&A
The Silver Cross Reef 2 Stroller isn’t designed to work with the Wave 3 Bassinet. The Wave 3 Bassinet is part of the Wave series and uses a different mounting system than the Reef 2.
Yes, it does!
Customer reviews
Personally, I think I’ll be returning this stroller. My husband broke our Xplory X (and for some unknown and unforeseen reasons, Stokke had no record of our registration) so we thought we’d try something new this time around since we have to spend the money. But…I dunno. Having the direct comparison of chassis stability, my nerves aren’t settled with how the frame shook and bothered my toddler, who is in no danger of SIDS, unlike my soon-to-be newborn. Hopefully, that’s just the one I got! I hope no one else had to deal with this but if you live somewhere with less than stellar walkways everywhere, you might want to think of a different stroller.
Otherwise, it’s a lovely stroller and seemed very comfortable. My toddler didn’t want to get out of it. I really loved that he could fully recline in both positions. It’s very comfortable. The seatbelt is a learning curve for sure and it was a struggle to get it fastened. I was having a hard time adjusting the bottom part that keeps it altogether but it worked out. The canopy is very nice and blocked out the wind that my Xplory X seems to struggle doing (weirdly, might I add) and I was very happy with the basket and the construction of it. I noticed a few people say it doesn’t hold much and it’s too small. I’m not so sure what other people have in their baskets on any given day but it was the perfect size and construct for me. I don’t know how I feel about the seat being so low (compared to the Xplory X which can be a very high seat) but I could get used to have to bend over, I guess, if I had no other qualms.
