Description

With laid-back style for moms or dads, the Elkin bag from Product of the North combines good looks and functionality in a practical, comfortable diaper backpack.

The roomy main compartment has a frog-mouth opening (it unzips all the way) and can fit lots of gear for your day’s outing. There are interior pockets to stash your necessities, including a zippered parent pocket, padded laptop compartment, plus a removable changing pad.

The outside has a large pocket with mesh organizers and a key clip that’s perfect for your phone and wallet. Two exterior water bottle pockets. Carry by the top handles or wear it as a backpack.

There’s more to feel good about: this bag is made using recycled water bottles! The exterior is made of sustainable blusign fabric, and the fabric for the liner and changing pad is 100% recycled.

To me, it's basically a backpack with a laptop compartment and a changing pad. But, I still love it way more than our diaper bags from Amazon. Yeah, we blew through two diaper bags in less than 2 years. Love that the side pockets are deeper for water bottles etc. Love that you can open the bag with a simple zipper instead of those front flap designs. Love that there aren't a million compartments to stash and lose random things. Love that the front little pocket is has a solid form to it, making it easier to quickly grab something out of it! So far the quality seems like it will last longer than diaper bags we bought on Amazon!

I returned it. Definitely needs more pockets inside for organization. Especially a few mesh/see through ones on the inside front and maybe one on the inside of each side.

Love this color (saffron) so much and the bag is so spacious. I purchased this while pregnant with my second and it has plenty of room for baby supplies and a change of clothes/snacks for the toddler. And it doesn’t look like a diaper bag so this will be my personal travel bag when the kids are bigger.

This navy backpack diaper bag is a gift to the Mom and soon to arrive baby. The bag looked and felt well made and functional. Nice surprise was the changing pad tucked in an inside pocket.

I chose this bag for its looks (needed to be something my husband would carry), backpack style to reduce my back pain, the commitment to environmental conservation, and for the thoughtful diaper bag details. We love the interior laptop compartment (which is where we keep flat things like placemats and changing table covers) the insulated front pockets for keeping bottles/food cold, and the tote handles on top for quick grabbing. We have been using the bag on a daily basis for nearly nine months now. Most of the bag has held up remarkably well, still looks almost brand new, and cleans up easily. However, the “felted” area on the front pocket became shaggy very quickly and definitely gives the bag a very worn, weathered look and actually appears kind of dirty. I took off two stars for this because the wear on the front pocket is so obvious and prominent that I am looking for a new bag. It’s the only imperfect part of the bag (and is entirely cosmetic), but it looks so grungy that I’m a little embarrassed to be carrying it.
