Stackable freezer trays are included, so you don’t have to worry about searching for them in the cold depths of your freezer. The lids are very firm and secure. Toss them in a diaper bag with no worries about them breaking open. In fact, they’re so secure it takes a little bit of force to pry them open.
They are microwave, freezer, and dishwasher safe. Be careful to follow the microwave instructions to ensure you don’t damage them: you’re not supposed to microwave them for more than two minutes (basically, you shouldn’t allow the food to boil). After your baby outgrows baby food, they’re great for portioning out little snacks of goldfish crackers or Cheerios, or putting a side dish in a lunch bag. When you wash them, take care to wash and dry the silicone rim separately to keep moisture from being trapped in the crevices.
