Description
This travel system stays true to Nuna’s reputation for modern and user-friendly designs. It comes with the Pipa Rx Infant Car Seat, the Relx Base and the Tavo Next stroller—everything you need to go from the car to stroller and back again.
First, the car seat and base. Color-coded indicators (green means installation is complete; red tells you there’s more to do) let you know when the base is connected correctly so you can travel with confidence. It’s also easy to install without the base—handy for parents who often rideshare.
This seat gets points for safety and comfort. It has side-impact protection and a base with a fold-down stability leg that wedges against the car floor. The leg absorbs collision forces in an accident and stabilizes your baby’s ride the rest of the time (it’s a locking 3-piece design that makes it a better fit for different types of cars and the middle seat).
The base also has an anti-rebound panel that helps achieve a tight install and prevents extra motion. There’s more: the steel-reinforced rigid latch has four positions for a better fit against your vehicle seat.
The bubble-free, numbered recline means you can change positions as your baby grows without having to uninstall the base. The low-profile base also allows for easier loading of the car seat.
Another parent favorite: the pull-down canopy creates a shady cocoon and attaches quietly with magnets, while the mesh window lets you check in. The canopy is UPF 50+ canopy with a flip-out eyeshade for added protection.
The Pipa RX comes with a two-piece removable infant insert made from organic jersey and head support that customizes to baby’s shape. All the materials used are flame resistant, but without any added fire retardant chemicals.
Two more noteworthy details: buckle holders keep the buckle out of the way when you’re putting in baby and the luxe leatherette handle adds a chic touch.
And now the stroller. Built-in Free-flex suspension ensures their ride is smooth, and the extra spacious seats encourage comfort.
The Tavo Next features a fold-away axle for a more compact fold (it can also be opened and closed with one hand) and the MagneTech Secure Snap, a self-guiding magnetic buckle that automatically locks into place and makes harnessing a breeze. Five and three-point harness and a removable arm bar allow for flexibility as your little one grows.
The roomy all-season seat keeps baby cozy in winter and unsnaps to breathable mesh in the summer. The four position reclining backrest (which can be reclined with one hand) and adjustable calf support for growing babies. The seat fully reclines, so it can be used with baby from day one, along with a removable infant insert that provides extra comfort for newborn riders.

This listing comes with the Nuna Tavo stroller and the Pipa Rx car seat. There are no compatible bassinets for the Nuna Tavo. And the Tavo can only accommodate one child at a time (it's not a convertible stroller).
Make sure to remove the body support portion of the infant insert at 11 lbs. Then you can continue to use the head support to provide a snug fit. Once you feel it's no longer comfortable, remove the entire infant insert from the seat.

We think it's comfortable if you are 6'0" or 6'1". For someone even taller, they might prefer the MIXX Next, which has about 2 more inches of handle height on it.
