The bassinet did not do its job. While the size was spacious and comfortable, and assembly seemed easy, the structure was weak and unstable. The surface was uneven, causing my baby to roll against the wall of the bassinet, which felt unsafe.
Customer service was great—email support was helpful, though the virtual AI chat was not. They responded to my concerns and sent a replacement, but unfortunately, the issue persisted. I had to return both bassinets.
Given the lack of stability and high price, I do not recommend this product for little ones.

FLAWED DESIGN- HAZARD
The mattress really is breathable, truly, which is great! However, the design of the bassinet itself is flawed. The mattress is only supported by fabric, so the mattress is never leveled. If the baby goes to one side of the bassinet it easily tilts with them. So, it is always slightly angled. This is a huge hazard. Giving some points for mattress bring breathable.

Mattress doesn’t stay flat
If I put the side down the bassinet isn’t flat and baby would roll to her side. Did like how large it is tho

Unstable
After only 2 months of use the bassinet is now tilted to one side and my baby is always right up against the left wall because of it. Disappointed in this and am very concerned for my little ones safety.

Bassinet
I truly love this product and use it as a bedside sleeper. I love the fully mesh sides, how easy it is to attach/detach from bed, the larger size compared to others, and attractive design. We moved to this one after my 2. 5 month year old started to outgrow her first bassinet. Wish I would I have started with this one!

Absolutely Terrible Quality and Design
We ordered this bassinet as we had heard multiple wonderful things about the newton mattress and this was ranked one of the top bassinets. It is extremely poor quality. I was shocked at how cheap the “mattress” in the bassinet felt and the overall sturdiness of the bassinet. The two rods that are in the middle of the structure poke through the mattress so newborn baby is beyond uncomfortable. I was shocked when my husband showed me how flimsy it was upon building it. Little one cries non stop when placed down as it is way too firm. Truly feels like cardboard and does not have any high quality materials. Would highly discourage anyone from purchasing - especially at this price point. It looks much better online than in person once it is built. The mattress in the bassinet feels like hard plastic. There is no breath ability and we feel awful having the little one sleep here as it really is so cheaply made.

Do not recommend
The side sleeper tilts down on the side that is down causing baby to slide into the edge of the bassinet. Very disappointed in the structure of this item.
