The soft, silicone base feels more like skin to your baby than glass or plastic (great for little hands that like to knead while feeding). And squeezing the flexible base - which forces more liquid out - is similar to the let-down action of nursing. Also you don’t need a special brush to give it a thorough cleaning because of the wide base, and putting it back together again is a cinch.
