The NextFit Max ClearTex Extended-Use Convertible Car Seat offers 25% more legroom and a 50 lbs weight limit in the safer rear-facing position (it can be used in the forward-facing position up to 65 lbs). From textiles to tags, ClearTex means no added chemicals for gentle, child comfort and parent peace of mind.

A 9-position, Easy-Extend Headrest System raises with the harness to effortlessly accommodate growth throughout both modes and a removable newborn positioner provides added support for infants 4-11 lbs.

The NextFit Max ClearTex is designed with smart functionality that makes it the easiest to install correctly, every time. Dual RideRight bubble levels and a nine-position ReclineSure leveling system help you achieve the correct angle. Premium connectors, a SuperCinch force-multiplying tightener and the LockSure belt-tightening system make it easy to achieve a secure install via LATCH or the vehicle seat belt.

This is a convertible car seat, so it stays in the car (versus an infant car seat which can be removed from the car seat base and attached to a stroller). The upside: you can use this car seat all the way up to 65 lbs.

For premium protection, DuoGuard features a deep rigid shell and EPS energy-absorbing foam that surround the head and torso. The seat shell is also reinforced with a steel frame for superior impact protection.

NextFit Max ClearTex features a machine washable seat pad and a space-saving, dishwasher safe CupFolder (that’s a foldable cup holder).

Good seat, good value
Good seat with no added flame retardants for a good price. Lots of room for child and very comfy. The harness is well designed.

Great Car seat
Have a secondary seat and i could be happy either can the kiddo with all the space. I've read a lot of complains about the fabric piling but since its a secondary seat i wouldn't be able to comment on that yet.

COMFORTABLE TODDLER!
We bought this carseat back in March and have been using it since for our 2 year old. We love the extended leg room and the reclining options!! She is able to stay fully reclined still and nap comfortably in this seat without her head falling forward which is a huge plus!! This seat is a game changer compared to the slimfit Graco seat we had before. The quality is much better and she is so much more comfortable in this seat and i feel more confident she is safer. We will be getting another seat once our other daughter outgrows her chicco infant carseat as well.

Velcro shoes destroy this fabric
Within one day, the fabric was severely pilling and pulled where my little ones feet sit. Velcro shoes and this material do not get along. Surprised that this would happen since practically all toddler shoes have velrco straps.

Good seat, less than stellar customer service/return/cancellation policy, so buy in store instead.
I have three seats of this model, so I definitely am happy with the seat. However they make it very financially devastating to cancel/return/exchange their products. I tried contacting them to cancel my order (realized my kid would be in new seat before I needed this seat, so they could use one of our already owned seats and we could just purchase the booster w/back for older child), they had not shipped the order at that point, but I realize that I contacted them after business hours. By the next day they did ship the order and informed me I couldn’t cancel, but could return. To return the cheapest way possible costs over 100$, so not great. I also had to chase them down to even get return authorization to even find out what it would cost, so definitely I recommend just purchasing the seat from a brick and mortar retailer.

Awesome Car seat!
Super easy to install compared to the Graco DLX 4Ever! Also super super easy to clean there’s only two pieces. We have two of these and are about to purchase a third one for our new baby.
