Overview

Description

The Philips Avent Fast Baby Bottle Warmer features smart temperature control that prevents milk and food from overheating, while adjusting the heating pattern for faster warming (as little as three minutes).

The Bottle Warmer detects the milk’s initial temperature, warms it to the ideal temperature and keeps it there for up to 60 minutes. It also has a setting for frozen milk.

Bundle option: You can also get the Bottle Warmer and Philips Avent Microwave Steam Sterilizer as a bundle (just select that option). The Microwave Steam Sterilizer reaches temps higher than your dishwasher and the items inside remain sterile for 24 hours when the lid is unopened. All it takes is loading the sterilizer, adding water, locking the lid and two minutes later you have steam-purified bottles. It also works with pacifiers, breast pumps, milk storage cups and lids. The sterilizer kills 99.9% of bacteria.

Poor design
Been using this for a month now and we really dislike the design of this warmer. You never are sure where the water level is at due to the design and it states that the water must be the same level as the milk. There is no way to make sure of the water lever since you just see from above and there has not been one instance where we feel the water has been the same level as the milk. Highly dislike this product and recommend making some way for consumers to be able to see the water level from the side instead of just having to guess from just looking above.

The product on this official Philips page says it works at 220 - 240W. I went and bought it at a Target (Philips recommendation) and when I opened it it says it works at 120-127W. The only place I was able to communicate was with the chat and they assure me that it is 220W even though the product says otherwise. I am afraid of plugging it in in my country (Argentina) and setting it on fire, I need someone to show their face!!!

Nope! Get baby’s brew instead. $30 more, but sooooo much better.
It sucks! I borrowed from sister-in-law and it does not heat at all! It took way too long to heat my milk where I ended up breast feeding to stop the crying. If anyone is looking for a better product, the baby’s brew is about $80, it doesn’t need to be plugged into wall, and it has 4 different settings as well. Baby’s brew is the best product that I’ve found that heats milk properly and it’s nice that the machine is small and wall free (unless you’re charging it). Battery lasts about 8 hours if constantly using. Works for breast milk, and formula as well.

BEWARE
We purchased this product so I (the father) could give my daughter re-heated breast bottles overnight. Every single time the Philips Advent has over-heated the milk until the point of damaging it (over 115F - meant to be at around 98F) resulting in a perfectly good batch having to be binned and my poor wife having to wake up. Even when setting to a lower volume it still over heats. I will be putting this product in the bin along with the wasted milk. Avoid!!!

Colossal waste of time and money!!!
We’ve used this bottle warmer( it doesn’t warm bottles) for a little over 2 months. I’ve gone round and round with this bottle warmer, read the instructions multiple times and nothing seems to work. It takes way too long to “warm” a bottle and when the time goes off it might be on the cool side of room temperature. This is incredibly infuriating when your child is screaming for their bottle at 3am and it takes what feels like 20 minutes to get a cold bottle. Don’t waste your time, money or sanity on this product.

It gets the job done, but it is very slow. This bottle warmer takes about 10 minutes to heat 4 ounces of milk, and elyou have to change the water level every time you have different amounts of milk or use a different brand/type of bottle. I don’t recommend

HATE IT!
Horrible, tedious, frustrating! takes 14 minutes to warm up a 6oz bottle of formula. I actually exchanged one thinking it was defective but it wasn't.

Bottle warmer
I’d recommend this product to parents out there still putting there baby bottles under there tap and turning on the hot water. This thing is pretty slick works great. When we go over to the in-laws we really miss that they don’t have one.

Absolutely sucks
This bottle warmer is the absolute worst. It has to be turned on and off multiple times before it will (maybe) work. There is nobody to reach out to at the company regarding a solution, either. Do not recommended.
